"As a student in Year 11, I am very happy with the help and support I get
from Maths and English Wiz and also the Science Wiz. I am doing Maths
Methods Tertiary as well as three sciences (physics, chemistry and biology) and
I appreciate all the help I can get. The biology is a 3&4 (year 12) and it
really helps to have the units 1&2 to constantly look back on. It helps to
look back on things that I have learned as well as the things that I have not
learned, or not learned to my complete understanding. It helps me to
understand properly and to get a comprehensive understanding which I am really
benefiting from.
The Maths Wiz programs really help; I love the way that regardless of whether
or not you get it right, you can always choose "solution" and see how you do it.
For me personally, if I don't understand it I get out my note book and take
notes in my own words.
It is very beneficial because if I don't understand it when I am doing
homework then I can either ring up or email the question to the team and they
will email back as soon as they can. The Program is great when I am unable
to get help and advice from the school teachers. On a few occasions I have
used the Tutor helpline and they give me step by step instructions for the
question and also extra help.
With the English Wiz, when I have to write an essay, I can send off my rough
draft and they will send it back with tips and advice, which is great! I
appreciate all the things that they do for me and the help and support I receive
is exceptional.
